What is a boundary?
A boundary is a line that marks the limits of an area; a dividing line.

As an architect by training, I am aware of the importance of boundaries. Every project has a boundary, it is usually defined by a property line in the physical space. The zoning will define the boundary of the building. The function of the space will define the boundary of the room. The boundary can be the wall, the roof, the floor, and the openings. The boundary gives the space dimensions and volume. The boundary establishes a clear separation between different functions. The boundary creates a safe harbor for the inhabitants from the rain and wind.
Beyond architecture, boundaries are found in many places as a physical separation between neighbors and nations or as an invisible boundary between races, classes, disciplines, religions, politics, and humanities. We are told not to cross the boundaries.
What is an Undefined Boundary?
What if we live in a world without boundaries? The idea of illegal crossing or territory disputes will cease to exist. Once the boundary is dissolved, the movement is suddenly free. The space is fluid and continuous. Will the boundaryless world finally save us from all the pains and tragedies we have endured for many years? What a simple solution to save humanity! My thoughts drifted away from the ongoing brutal conflicts in the world. The wound is still fresh. However, this is not the place to advocate or protest, this is where I collect my thoughts about everyday objects, architecture, the urban environment, and everything in between. When the boundary disappears, the space extends into the outside or lets the outside flow into the inside. The ideas drift across territories, disciplines, races, classes, and politics. The undefined boundary invites fluidity and ambiguity and challenges the convention.
